Profiles 2023 Changes

To streamline the data submission process and alleviate the reporting strain on institutions, we have integrated the online questions from the Profiles Survey into its spreadsheet component, concurrently reducing the number of questions therein. Specifically, any data that was either not recorded in the Engineering Data Management System or was accessible to institutions through alternative channels has been excluded.

Provide the number of new applicants and newly enrolled degree candidates (excluding transfer students) in the college or equivalent, for Fall 2023 specifically:

  1. How many applications did you receive for the fall admission to each program?
  2. How many of these applicants for each program were accepted for the fall admission?
  3. How many of those accepted for each program actually enrolled in the fall?

Make sure these totals entered match the totals entered in the appropriate questions of the U.S News Engineering Schools Statistical Survey for the fall of 2023 academic year.

Enter the number of dual major degrees awarded in the college for July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

For students newly enrolled, indicate the range of SAT and ACT scores for the middle 25th through the 75th percentile, or the middle 50%.
